In point of care
With the explosion of the demand for care and the decrease in supply, the issues of access to care are becoming more and more acute.
Our society is facing the aging of the population and the increase in the number of chronically ill, while the medical desertification is increasing from year to year. It now affects 10% of French people facing issues of medical availability and accessibility. At the same time, the demand for care is also changing because of lifestyles evolvement.
E-health and telemedicine provide concrete solutions to facilitate access to care in the territories and follow-up of the chronically ill but also to facilitate teleconsultation in the workplace or remote medical monitoring of off-site employees. The point of care model is taking its place in the new organization of our health system, particularly highlighting the key role of pharmacists and nurses.
BewellConnect offers pharmacists, elected officials and corporate health departments an all-in-one teleconsultation station developed based on its flagship product, VisioCheck®. This compact solution (50 cm² on the floor) has all the features to make a simple teleconsultation session as complete as possible.
Thanks to the integrated medical devices or available by Bluetooth, the vital constants (pulse, blood pressure, blood glucose, temperature, SpO2 saturation, ECG, weight) can be taken, transmitted in real time to health professionals and recorded to enable patient follow-up in the long term.
It also allows to carry out a teleconsultation in a safe and confidential way. The patient is put in almost instant contact with a doctor by videoconference. At the end of this, the doctor can transmit, if necessary, a prescription to the patient’s pharmacy which will deliver the prescription.
The data collected is stored in France at a health data host approved by the Ministry of Health.
